Description

Original EP 1 of 200 produced -Psychedelic fire and brimstone doom monster with heavy Doors-ish influence and ferociously guttural screamed lead vocals that rival Jim Morrison. Slow intense lengthy climactic songs (only six of them) that burn with loud grungy guitars, letting up occasionally for psych-drenched hazy dreamscapes. with wah-wah, fuzz, reverb, tremolo all strongly represented. Strange apocalyptic lyrics (virtually indecipherable without the lyric sheet) that are not your typical Christian fare by any means. Considered by many to be the Holy Grail of psych privates, hence the accompanying $2500 whopper price tag. This original pressing comes in a die-cut red filter cover revealing moon inner sleeve. It don't get any heavier than this! (KS). I purchased this personally from Giles Hamiliton of the UK. Giles Hamilton is an acid rock, metal and motorcycle enthusiast. He has no background in music, but the thrill of buying his first-ever record (the budget T. Rex compilation Ride A White Swan) has never left him, and he remains a fanatical collector nearly 40 years later. He works in finance and lives in London and Cornwall with his wife and two children. Giles is a contributer to Endless Trip of Foxcote Books the fullest critical guide ever published to the thousands of major label rock, pop and folk albums released in the U.S. and Canada between 1965 and 1974, edited by Sunbeam label-head Richard Morton Jack. Meant to be considered a sister volume to the Amazon #1 pop & rock bestseller, Galactic Ramble. This album is fully authentic. Vinyl VG+ light marks no skips or scratches label intact. Cover VG+ no cracks in corners, slight age discoloration , small pin holes in corner, slight edge wear, original sleeve intact . In the dead wax is hand written WR 5005 A and B. This is the best condition for this LP I have seen, I have owned two and the covers are very fragile and generally have cracking and delamination, this one has minimal impact by age and the LP is black and plays through with only minimal light noise. NO SALES TO ITALY or GREECE due to cutoms/postal regulations and costs.
