AFTER THIS COLOUR THEY WENT TO THE BLACK AND SILVER PRINT, THE SAME AS THE BEATLES, '' YELLOW SUBMARINE ''. THE GREEN WAS ONLY OUT FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, MAYBE A COUPLE OF MONTHS. This is a SOUTH AFRICAN pressing on the green label PARLOPHONE  cat no: PCSJ 12049 

VINYL : EXCELLENT, a few very light wispy hairlines you have to look under a light to see.

COVER : EXCELLENT +, laminate lift near the spine on the back cover, about 11cm on the top and 16cm down from the top, but not broken. there is lifting on back near opening that has peeled away from the cover, but not very bad at all really. The front cover is near mint  to look at, some very small, nearly unseen creases. There are some creases running down the spine in the gatefold when opened but really nothing really to worry about. A number that was written in pencil and rubbed out just above the cat no. on the inside gatefold at top right has left a slight impression.

LABELS: EXCELLENT +, some light spindle marks both sides. Side 2 has a little bit of wrinkling to the label across the parlophone name, but this has all ways been there from the factory.

            MINT: No defects on vinyl, no defects on cover, posters or inserts, and no defects on label. Record has no loss of sound, no pops or static and has full gloss look.

 NEAR MINT: Maybe one or two very light scuffs or hairline scratches just visible under light on vinyl, and the smallest of defect on cover , posters or inserts , one or two very light spindle marks on labels. Record retains its high gloss. No loss of sound.

  EXCELLENT: May be very light wispy hairline scratches or a scuffs on vinyl seen under light, some minor defects on cover and some light spindle marks or name on label. Record still retains its full gloss look, but there might be a very light pop or static on a track or two. A definite keeper.                        

VERY GOOD: Will have more noticeable scratches or scuffs on vinyl, some more noticeable defects on cover, posters or inserts , and more noticeable spindle marks on labels. Will start to effect sound quality to some minor degree, will be some popping or static due to wear on a couple of tracks, but still be a good listening experience. A keeper till something better comes along.

           GOOD: Vinyl will display overall scratches or scuffs, the cover, posters and inserts could be ripped or bent and have pieces missing or have water damage etc, and labels could be ripped or damaged or have names deeply written on them by pen or texter etc. Quality of sound will be deteriorating, and the stylus may jump or skip or it may not depending on the equipment being used.
