Description

FRANK MINION

1956 ~ VIK 4X-0222
Original First Issue ~ First & only single

A SIDE: "HOW MUCH LAND (DOES A MAN NEED)"
B SIDE: "PLEASE SEND HER BACK TO ME'"

VINYL: EX : Very black & shiny. A few light surface marks, nothing serious. One small faint blemish on A-Side.

SLEEVE : Original thick stock green die-cut sleeve (from the'50s) with matching numbers stamped on both sides (plus a new white paper sleeve & poly sleeve).

LABELS : Very sharp, no marks. One numbered sticker on each side.

A SIMPLE VINYL GRADING SYSTEM :

Mint: Sealed/Unplayed/Unopened/The Holy Grail
Mint minus (M-): New and Possibly Unplayed ; a rarely used grade.
Near Mint (NM): Like-new, with little or no visible wear; very scarce & collectible.
Near Mint minus (NM-): almost like-new, very slight signs of age, play or wear that are strictly cosmetic.
Excellent (EX)/Very Good plus-plus (VG++): Way above average, very nice, no serious flaws. Seldom spun.
Very Good plus (VG+): Above average; a few visible surface marks or paper scuffs; minor surface noise.
Very Good (VG) : An average used 45, far from perfect; light scratches. Noisy but plays through, no skips.
Very Good minus (VG-) : Reveals lots of wear & noise when viewed or spun but is not defective or warped.

Picture Sleeve grading is a much less exact, more subjective science. Generally, truly collectible grades range from Mint to Excellent (VG++) depending on general, overall wear. Main flaws such as split seams or spine splits, ring wear, cut or bent corners, hole punches, writing, water damage etc. should always be mentioned in a proper auction listing. These factors or the lack thereof will combine to determine the grade. Please email if you desire more details about any sleeve/cover/record/insert or poster listed by BearsWaxRecords.

Your item will be packaged with tender loving care. Records are always removed from sleeves for shipping and are securely packed in nice new inner sleeves & poly sleeves & then packed inside thick cardboard album mailers along with stiff cardboard inserts to help provide a safe as possible delivery.

Seller is not responsible for uninsured items that arrive damaged or somehow become lost in the mail. If you have had problems with safe arrival in the past, please purchase insurance.

All records are professionally sight-graded, only sometimes play-graded. Please keep in mind that used records from the '50s & '60s are rarely found in actual Mint condition & very seldom in Near Mint. Proper record grading involves skill, knowledge & honesty, not wishful thinking. Most used 45s have surface noise.

Pictures shown in a bearswaxrecords listing are of the actual items up for bid.  International bidders are always welcome.  A special note to my overseas buyers: Please do not ask me to falsify your customs forms. This is a service I cannot provide. Thanks for your understanding.

Please bid with confidence. Check out our hard-earned feedbacks. People tend to appreciate our careful packaging methods. Sincere thanks for looking & best of luck on all your future eBay adventures. Satisfaction is always guaranteed. Please feel free to e-mail The Bear with any questions concerning any listed item or about Music in general. Positive feedback will be left promptly for deserving eBayers. This item is taken from the sprawling collection of a well-respected used record store owner now semi-retired but still inspired & certainly much blessed. Heartfelt thanks to my beloved past buyers from every State & all over the World. Please stay tuned to the listings of Bears Wax Records because many more collectible music & media treasures will be appearing soon !!
