Description
Absolutely authentic original 1954 1'st pressing of this very rare south side of Chicago release on Haven - "The Emperors" with Rhythm(red vinyl). Hand written in the dead wax 45-H-228-A 320 (Come Back, Come Back) and 45-H-228-A 320 (I May Be Wrong). Vinyl is extremely clean with a brilliant bright luster and very minimal scuffing. Both sides of label are close to NM with ever so slight surface ware (see photos). Play graded twice at the north side of Chicago's premier used record store by the owner (S,R,& R). Absolutely no skips on either side. Side A few pops and clicks, ever so slight background noise - grades conservatively VG/likely VG+. Side B 3 pops or clicks with virtually no background noise - grades VG+ to EX-/better of the two. Great copy of this rare 45 not likely to show up again for some time.
On Oct-09-14 at 20:22:25 PDT, seller added the following information:On the label of side 'B' there were 2 brown spots near the B (Pub. R & B Music) that have been lightly dusted off. You can see some white discoloration of the label that was underneath the 2 brown spots. Please view the additional 7th picture.
