Description

Franz Schubert - Symphony No.7 in C major op.posth.

Joseph Haydn - Symphony No.88 in G major

Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra

DGG LPEM 18015/16

This is ultra rare original first German heavy vinyl pressing on 2 lps from 1952 (26.2.52 in dead wax) with the earliest "Alle Hersteller" tulip label.

The condition is absolutely incredible. Both records look unplayed, like new!!! There is no splindle wear at all.

Playback is near mint, too.

The gatefold cover looks like new except for a little bending at the right top, a hint of ring wear and little wear to the blue textile seam at the right (whoch can easily be repaired). No writings, no splits.

It is impossible to find this holy grail of classical music in better condition.

Both records are professionally cleaned on a Keith Monks Mk.II, play graded after cleaning and equipped with new Hi End anti static inner sleeves Nagaoka No.102.

condition: cover: EX / vinyl: look and play NM

NM is our highest grade for used records. A near mint record has neither any hairlines nor any scratches.

An EX record may have a few superficial hairlines which are not or barely audible.

We don´t sell any records with a lower grade than EX unless it´s a very rare and highly sought after item, even in a condition worse than EX.
