 An amazing collection of all 42 DECCA 'Sounds of Brass' Series LP's.

This is a rare chance to acquire one of the best collections of Brass Band history ever created.  I've never seen a complete collection for sale before, and I doubt if I will again. If you're passionate about Brass Bands this collection offers an incredible array of music peppered with solo performances from some of the best soloists around in the 1970's.  The first record (SB301) was released in 1972, and the last (SB342) in 1980 - certainly the best years of of my euphonium playing days!

I completed the collection about 10 years ago and have had them stored in a cupboard since then.  Believe it or not, I've never played any of them so I cannot say with any knowledge at all what condition they're in with regard to scratches and sleeve conditions etc.  Any buyer will be purchasing them as I did - in good faith.

The collection includes the entire catalog from SB301 to SB342 plus duplicates of SB303 & SB316 (44 LP's in total).

It took a lot of time, effort and money to complete the collection, so I have set a reasonable reserve price to reflect this.
