Description

Welcome to another one of my auctions of rare and collectable Psychedelic records, This one is gonna be a beauty, I can even remember seeing another one of these for sale in the last 20 years...Not for the want of looking, All my items are strictly graded and come with a money back guarantee if you are not 100% happy. Ive been on here for nearly 15 years now and never had a complaint as yet.

I bought this one about 15 years back and its never been offered up for sale to the general public before as i bought it off a collector. If you dont know about this record then there are a few web pages of interest that should give you an idea of what its about...but if you do you know its rariety and and its place in British psych/prog rock history.

http://www.marmalade-skies.co.uk/complex.htm Gives you a good rundown on the history of the band

Complex - Complex LP (Private Pressing CLPM001) from 1970.

This LP is in outstanding condition, I have never even seen one for sale never mind one that is in such great condition, The sleeve is virtually unmarked with extremely light use on the corners....Obviously the bottom of the sleeve has a seam split which is taped up like all of the originals do, This was due to being made at exactly 12" thus the LP`s did not fit into the sleeves without breaking the seams, this is really the only fault but as it was done in production its not exactly a fault, Sleeve graded as a Solid NEAR MINT

This also comes with a 2nd generic plain sleeve which does actually house the record, This is also the original 2nd sleeve that came with the LP, Please see pics for the writing stating `BvB`s copy` or BrB`s copy with `COMPLEX` across the middle in red marker pen. A plain white cardboard generic sleeve with a little wear and discolored from handling/age of the years but still very very nice condition, Graded as EXCELLENT

The plain white poly-lined inner sleeve(British Patent No.800513 & 973939)  is also in EXCELLENT condition

The semi matt plain black labels with silver print and also in beautiful condition...they display the "Made In Scotland", A few spindle marks are noticeable under strong light but there is not really any wear to speak of and no damage like writing or labels, tears, etc, ...Graded as EXCELLENT++

Right now for the big one, This LP`s surface looks beautiful with very minimal use in the few times it has seen a record deck, It still displays a beautiful glossy black sheen, There are NO nasty marks or scratches to be seen anywhere on either side of the LP,  Obviously the LP has been played a few times and there is evidence of light careful use, Under strong light there are a few light sleeve removal marks noticable on each side which is not really noticable in normal light, Side 2 has 2 very light marks but these are not serious in anyway but worth a mention, Other than that the LP is in fantastic condition throughout, Graded at EXCELLENT+

This really is a once in a life time opportunity to grab one of the holy grails in the UK vinyl scene, I wish i could keep it but i think its time for someone else to enjoy it, One of my all time favorites, I have the 10th planet re-issues so can still appreciate the vinyl in some form or another,

Please only genuine bidders on this LP, I will ship it world wide but only with appropriate insurance as i think it will got for a decent amount, Please contact me prior to sending any payment so we can discuss/arrange this.

Well that`s about it, good luck and good bidding and i really hope it goes to a good home, Its a gem of an LP.
