Description

This is another fine Columbia 6-EYE stereo recording from Leonard Bernstein, conducting the New Yor Philharmonic Orchestra, in a program of Mahler's "Symphony No. 3 in D Minor". Also involved are the women's chorus of the Schola Cantorum under the direction of Hugh Ross, and the Boy's Choir of the Church of the Transfiguration under Stuart Gardner. The mezzo-soprano Martha Lipton. This is a glorious program that Bernstein was quite famous in conducting. The 2 Lp set is under the catalog #M2S-675. The gate-fold cover is Mint- with no flaws that I can see except a little ring wear. The vinyl on the early deep groove 6-EYE classical label and the vinyl is Mint on all sides. Please view my other fine recordings on ebay.
