WOW! I have stumbled onto a lifetime collection from a local doctor’s estate and what a collection it is! 2,500 + LP’s! All in pristine condition and ranging from the 1950's to the 1980's with the majority of them in the late 1950's to late 1960's. Never been listed anywhere and just out of the doctors estate .I don’t think the good doctor played any of them more than a few times and many played once and many even look unplayed. Very glossy and NO SPINDLE MARKS.However I can't play everyone and there is always some minor noise,so even the NM vinyl I play may have some kind of inherent noise like surface, tic or pop no matter how well taken care of.I will grade them visually under intense light using the Goldmine rating chart.I have been listening to vinyl my entire 54 years and have been a serious collector for over 10 years now.I will grade them as accuratley as I know how to without playing each one(however I would love to but don't have the time)These are the nicest records in a large collection I have ever seen and probably will ever see. A once in a lifetime collection.I hope you can find something to add to your collection.

I believe all were played on a top-end turntable, but don't know for sure what brand or stylus. I do know that he had high end eqipment like a McIntosh amp that the family kept! I've played a quite a few on a Bang and Olafson Beogram 3404 with a MME 20E stylus, They sound very good with no unusual noise. Super, super, clean vinyl. Almost all (99.9%) of the covers and sleeves are NM and original with no seam splits or seperation. Only a very few corners are slightly bent (I will list them with a description). Great graphics and photo slicks, with very little, if any, ring wear. All of these were stored properly and have no sign of staining or mildew.Don't miss these great finds!

The artists range from the most famous violin and cello virtuoso's, piano and organ masters, to the broadest assortment of orchestras and conductors I've ever seen. Every piano and organ virtuso. Many more horn virtuosos. Just way to much to list here!

The labels range from big to small, famous to obscure ,USA,British, German, Dutch, Czech, Russian, French and others..Almost all covers and vinyl are NM. If I find defects I will list them accordingly.

I will begin to list these beauties a little each week,by label, until they are gone so ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLERS LIST and watch as the various auctions unfold. I will sell the better known labels first. I have groups of well known and desirable artists and will sell them in the beginning of this auction. All others will follow.
