Description

******************  "BIRD, DIZ, BUD, MAX" LP - On Savoy MG-9034.  FIRST PRESS 1953 Mono 10" LP, Deep Groove with the original maroon & silver labels.  Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  The personnel:  CHARLIE PARKER, DIZZY GILLESPIE, BUD POWELL, MAX ROACH, MILES DAVIS, SONNY STITT, KENNY CLARKE, SLIM GAILLARD, JACK McVEA, JAMES MOODY, MILT JACKSON, RAY BROWN, HANK JONES, JOHN LEWIS, CURLEY RUSSELL.  The vinyl is VG++ to VG+ with a few light marks, high gloss.  Disc plays well.  The cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully.  NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks of any kind.  The songs are:  Slim's Jam; Popity Pop; Co-Coa; Blues A La Bud; Wailing Willie; Diz-Iz.  Original rice paper inner sleeve included!
