CARL GREEN & THE SCENE rare UK 1980 POWER POP / PUNK

This is a very rare (the first copy I have ever seen in 29 years !!!) and one of the best in my opinion UK POWER POP / MOD cross over singles by the band CARL GREEN AND THE SCENE from 1980, this is the ORIGINAL pressing and the first time I have seen this single for sale. AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
I don't think this single has been comped yet, but is one of the best examples of UK POWER POP / MOD cross over singles, and would be a great addition to any of the POWERPEARLS type compilations. The strange thing is this single is not documented or written about anywhere else, the band released a rare single in 1979 on their own SIRIUS records, and by the end of 1980 signed to RCA after winning a Battle Of The Bands competition, and release a few singles on that lable, but this privately released single in the inbetween period (recorded September 1980) is not documented, and not even mentioned in Mario Panciera's great book 45 REVOLUTIONS, although the RCA singles are mentioned there.
further more I have all the other Carl Green And The Scene singles, and this 3 tracks EP / single, is the best of the lot, a real POWER POP / MOD cruncher with PUNK edge, that reminds me of a cross between PROTEX and THE DIRECTIONS, so here it is for the first time, and maybe the last time, this rare never seen before single !!!

The single came out on the band's own BENTONFUN RECORDS / GINNIS BUCKA RECORDS, yes for some reason each side has a different record label name, and was recorded at the famous GUARDIAN STUDIOS, and pressed through the famous GUARDIAN RECORDS pressing plant, and was given a GUARDIAN RECORDS catalogue number GR / CG C55 , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!

The songs are: ALL THE TEA IN CHINA / BUSINESS ACQUAINTANCE / FISH IN THE SEE.

This single Comes with the original DOUBLE SIDED INSERT / P/S INSERT, and The condition of the VINYL is EX+ (Played once, played MINT-!!!), ORIGINAL DOUBLE SIDED INSERT / P/S INSERT is in EX+ condition, (minor bends).
This is the first time in 29 years I have seen this single, and You will not find another or a better condition of this PUNK / POWER POP / MOD / KBD single, of which only a few hundred or less copies were ever made.
