DGG 18036 LPM

You are bidding on the very scarce original first German mono edition from 1953 of this legendary recording in wonderful near mint condition.

The gatefold cover has stepped seams and the blue linen spine of the very first DGG pressings. It looks absolutely stunning with no writings, no splits, no tears etc. Date on back cover is "7.53" which means that this issue has been manufactured in July 1953.

The record looks and plays near mint with only very little spindle wear. It has the very first "Alle Rechte" tulip label.

Date "21.9.52" is stamped in dead wax on side 1, date "6.11.52" is stamped in dead wax on side 2.

condition: cover: NM / vinyl: NM

The record will be packed very carefully in an oversize cartoon box with extra strong packaging material.

Shipping charges for registered worldwide shipping are USD 18.

NM is our highest grade for used records. A near mint record has neither any hairlines nor any scratches.

An EX record may have a few superficial hairlines which are not or barely audible.

We don´t sell any records with a lower grade than EX unless it´s a very rare and highly sought after item, even in a condition worse than EX.

To all bidders from USA: Please note that shipping cost to USA are US$ 18.
