Historic radio Station advance promotional copy of Dylan's legendary "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". Of significance with this issue is the appearance of the four deleted tracks "Rocks And Gravel", "Let Me Die In My Footsteps", "Gamblin' Willie's Dead Man's Hand" and "Talkin' John Birch Blues" on the Timing Strip. (The songs are not on the labels, the record or the jacket otherwise).
The record is a White Label Promo with trail off matrix numbers:
XLP-58717-3A and XLP-58718-2A
Rear of Jacket is stamped "Demonstration Not For Sale" and has radio station "WIND" call letter written boldly at the top. Otherwise, the jacket is near mint. No splits or chipping to spine or top seam, and very light color flaking to bottom seam. Thankfully, no attempt has been made to peel the timing strip, which remains near mint. A superb example of this historic item.
Labels are clean with no writing. When held at an angle to the light, the perimeters around each spindle hole show impressions caused by use, though these impressions are not otherwise visible marks (see photo). Disc has one scratch 1/2" long on side two running between tracks one and two. The scratch is audible, but not distracting. There is no skip caused by it. Otherwise, the disc shows average wear and would grade VG+.

POSTAGE RATES:
DOMESTIC MEDIA MAIL postage for up to 3 LP's is $3 (4-8 LPs is $4.50; count each disc in a multi-LP set as one LP)
DOMESTIC PRIORITY postage for one LP is $6 ($1 for each additional LP; count each disc in a multi-LP set as one LP. A 2-LP set would be $7, for instance).
DOMESTIC INSURANCE is $1.30 for $50 worth of insurance, $2.20 for $100 worth, and $1 for every additional $50 increment of insurance thereafter $3.20 for $150 worth, and so forth).
INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE:
- To EUROPE is $12 flat for 1 LP and $2 for each additional LP (Count each disc in a multi-LP set as one LP. A 2-LP set would be $14, for instance). $18 for box sets of 3-4 LP's (box sets over 4 LP's need to be quoted).
- To CANADA is $6 for 1 LP. For 2 LP's or more, bidders should email us for a quote. Count each disc in a multi-LP set as one LP.
- To EVERYWHERE ELSE, 1 LP is $13, and $3 for each additional LP. Count each disc in a multi-LP set as one LP. Box Sets of 3-4 LP's is $22, more than 4 LP's needs to be quoted.

As stated above, multiple items may be shipped together to save on postage costs, but to reduce our chaos, we must respectfully insist that: 1) AUCTIONS WINS THAT CLOSE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF EACH OTHER MAY BE COMBINED, e.g., two consecutive weekly auctions are fine, BUT ORDERS FROM AUCTIONS WHICH CLOSE MORE THAN A WEEK APART MAY NOT, and 2) IF PAYING BY PAYPAL, PLEASE INCLUDE ALL YOUR WINNINGS IN ONE PAYMENT WITH A LIST OF THE ITEMS (both eBay #'s and artist/title information) IN THE COMMENTS AREA OF PAYPAL'S ORDER PAGE. We will not be responsible for extra postage incurred for orders shipped incomplete because separate paypal payments created confusion!
PAYMENT:
We accept payment in US FUNDS ONLY, by MONEY ORDER, US CHECK, US CASH, BIDPAY, PayPal or through our website which is equipped with a secure server for your credit card (see above).
INSURANCE MUST BE PURCHASED IF PAYING BY PAYPAL. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you do not want insurance and/or reduced declaration amounts, you must pay by either Bid Pay, Check or Money Order in US Funds, or credit card (Visa, MC or Amex).
CONTACT AFTER AUCTION CLOSES:
PLEASE NOTE: Paypal's automated notice with our payment and contact information should be generated within 24 hours of auction's close. Please do not contact us first, unless you have not heard from us within three days (this means Paypal is sending notices out late (again!) or that the email got lost in cyberspace, which is getting to be common with AOL and Earthlink customers). Please do not use any automated client contact device upon auction's close, as we will assume that your notice has merely crossed with ours, and will not respond. Also, please do not use eBay checkout as we handle our own payments, as it creates delays.
REGARDING COMMUNICATION DURING THE PROCESS OF NORMAL TRANSACTIONS:
Please note that due to high volume of eBay tranactions and a very busy retail store it is not feasible to notify each buyer when their payment is received and when the item is shipped- however, we will promptly notify you if there is any irregularity or
delay, and will eventually send you a freindly notice if we discover that payment was not recieved.
