THE BEATLES - 'SHE LOVES YOU'/'I'LL GET YOU'
1963 UK 1st PRESSING *FACTORY SAMPLE/PROMO* 45
No red & white demonstration copies were pressed of this title, so promotional copies came only in the form of stickered 'Factory Sample' discs like this one.
This example dates from, or shortly before, release in July 1963 and is on the regular black & silver Parlophone label: R 5055
The side 1 label carries a 100% genuine red & white 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' and a red 'A' indicator sticker.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'I'll Get You' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17395-1N & 7XCE 17396-1N
Stamper codes: 5/OR & 1/RA
The disc is housed within an original EMI promotional 'Top Pop' sleeve.

Labels: 1. EXCELLENT 2. VERY GOOD
The side 1 label is clean & undamaged, although the 'Factory Sample sticker has some wear to its edges. I suspect it has been transferred from the 'I'll Get You' label where it has left a small area of missing paper. However, both stickers are certainly original & genuine.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surface are clean & glossy but displaying some general surface wear consistent with frequent turntable play. However, there are no heavy marks or deep scratches to either side, both of which lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT
The sound quality is powerful and unworn with no groove/play wear evident on either side. Aside from some light background on the run-ins, there is little to fault audibly.
Sleeve
EXCELLENT
A superb clean & flat example with just a touch of light storage wrinkling but no writing, seam splits or tears.
