Labels: NEAR MINT

A spectacular set with just 2/3 light spindle trails around the side 2 cnetze hole and just ONE on label 1.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Immaculate-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' & totally unmarked in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this copy has been removed from its inner-sleeve & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this keeper copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This outstanding sounding copy has received just 2/3 careful plays on quality equipment and plays totally wear-free throughout. All tracks play cleanly and clearly with all of the warmth and expression one would expect from this early mono pressing. All tracks are free from any groove/playwear distortion and my single careful play-check at volume detected just a hint of low-level vinyl background (not crackle or groovewear) on 'She's Leaving Home' and on the fine piano fade-out of 'A Day In the Life'. there are certainly no clicks, ticks, jumps or indeed any other audible distractions of any kind on this archive copy which will not require upgrading.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A superb respectable example of this iconic cover which comes from a clean, non-smoking environment and retains a vibrant & unscratched high-gloss front panel free which is from any 'thumbnails' or even a single spine wrinkle. There is a small bend the the upper right corner but all others are in perfect shape, as are both opening edges.

The rear panel is clean but does bear some noticeable scratches from storage.

Both panels of the inside are immaculate and 'as new'.

There spine is fully laminated & all of the wording is clean & readable and all seams are smooth & fully intact.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Clean & flat with just a few gentle handling wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.

Cut-out sheet: EXCELLENT
