Hi

My name is Rob and as my 100% feedback shows I am an avid collector as opposed to a seller.

My two passions are, anything related to the Beatles, records and/or memorabilia  I also have a passion for  Gum cards, mainly from the 60's.

However over the years in my quest to build a top end collection I have accumulated many duplicates in both RECORDS & CARDS.

I have now decided to list back on Ebay some of these items, so please add me to your favourites list to keep an eye out for what is coming.

Now as stated I am a collector and not a seller and am proud of my 100% feedback and wish to maintain it. So as not to disappoint I will describe these items to the best of my ability and will offer a full refund to anyone who is not satisfied with what I have stated. PROVIDING!! That all transactions are completed with satisfaction before negative feedback is left.

If you check through my Feedback you will see that the DESCRIPTIONS I give are correct, after all like you I am a collector and DISLIKE being dissapointed when my purchases arrive.

I am a friendly and approachable person so please email me with any queries you may have, especially before negative feedback is left.

NOW TO THE LISTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On offer here is one of the RAREST Beatles records you will EVER see on Ebay!!!!!!!! Especially in this INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC CONDITION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE BEATLES "SGT PEPPER'S" BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE MONO LP- PMC-7027-. THIS IS THE **VERY FIRST PRESSING** WITH THE "A NO DAY IN THE LIFE" CREDIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW RARE IS THAT ????????????

This as ALL BEATLES collectors know is one of their hardest records to locate as only a small amount of these made it past quality control at EMI before the mistake was noticed and rectified. Obviously EMI immediately recalled every one that they could, but this and only a FEW others managed to get through to the public.

You ONLY get the chance to own this MEGA RARE record as I have been fortunate enough to get hold of a near Pristine copy for my personal collection.

This is a VERY 1st PRESSING as is proved by the labels having "The Gramophone Co" around the outer edge and the "Sold In The UK" Text.

The Matrix Numbers are Side 1: XEX-637-1, and Side 2: XEX-638-1. The Mother and Stamper numbers are Side 1: At 3 o'clock 4 and At 9 o'clock RTG. Side 2: At 3 o'clock 9, and At  9 o'clock MMT.

CONDITION !!!!!!!

SIDE 1: The LABEL is in STUNNING condition, with absolutely no fading to be seen anywhere. The YELLOW writing is so VIVID against the rich BLACK background. There are if held in the correct ligh a couple of small/light spider marks, if not for these I would Grade it as NEAR MINT. The VINYL is FANTASTIC to see and looks NEAR MINT with no scratches or groove wear, only under a strong light can you see some light hairlines, probably caused by bag rash. The SOUND is as GOOD as the LOOK with absolutely NO CLICKS, POPS or JUMPS, not even background noise during the quieter parts between tracks. SIMPLY STUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SIDE "2: The LABEL is in exactly the same condition as SIDE 1, but of course is FAMOUSLY missing the track "A DAY IN THE LIFE" in the listing. The VINYL is again in FANTASTIC to look at condition and has NO CLICKS, POPS or JUMPS, there is a very, very slight crackle at the end of Lovely Rita but I am being Hyper Critical here and this WILL NOT stop you enjoying this CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED record.

SLEEVE: Is an ORIGINAL laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold, and is in VERY NICE condition and must GRADE at least EXCELLENT . The Front is very CLEAN and still retains it's FULL GLOSS and BEAUTIFUL COLOUR, it has NO laminate cracking and just a few small edge creases mainly on the spine. There are NO "HALF MOONS" which in itself is unusual. The corners are nice but have a little bending . It has a very nice seam and spine with NO wear. The back is also in great shape, with just a couple of edge creases and a very slight half moon near the opening. On the bottom there is a tiny bit of wear , this is very small and NOT a split. The inside of the SLEEVE is STUNNING with the colours still VIVID and BRIGHT with NO signs of wear, and still has that lovely sound when you open a NEW gatefold.

The Picture Insert is in MINT condition and the the white inner sleeve. has a small split on the bottom and can easily be replaced if required.

Before I go just ask yourself these questions. If only a FEW of these got past quality control at EMI and through to the Public, HOW MANY have survived today ???? and How many are out there that are in this STUNNING condition ????

Please save me into your FAVOURITES as I will be listing some other MEGA rare records I have as I need to sell on my duplicates.

I paid a considerable amount of money for this record but will set no reserve and leave it in the lap of the gods. Though I PROMISE you will very, very RARELY see this record for sale again, and RARELY in this condition. So if your a Mega Beatles Fan or just a Lover of 60's Music in general then this is a MUST HAVE for your collection.

I will not put a reserve on this item as I believe everybody should be given the chance to win, I will also accept first time buyers as everyone has to start somewhere.

HAPPY BIDDING & GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
