THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE (No.2)'
UK 1965 1st PRESS EP
This rare 4-track EP is a 1965 UK 1st pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8938
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a it attractive front laminated, rounded bi-flipback picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 874-1 & 7TCE 875-1
Stamper codes: 4/RD & 2/T
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & undamaged set with just a few faint blemishes to the side 1 label & some clumsy spindle marks but no major faults.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & bright with just a handful of light hairlines in strong daylight but no significant marks or wear. Close examination directly beneath halogen light reveals some more light hairlines but no major marks.
Play: VERY GOOD
This copy has been played many times and some light background is present throughout, together with two clicks at the end of 'I'll Follow The Sun'. However, there are no jumps, repeats or any other major faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A respectable example of this attractive sleeve which as you can see, has some moderate handling & storagewerar, but no major faults.
