Description

To offer comes here a very, very rare LP in any condition, the rarest official Beatles UK LP, much rarer than the Please, Please me on the black/gold parlophone Label.
The Beatles - Yellow Submarine Export on UK Odeon PPCS 7070.
Mainly export for Malta, but also Portugal. It was only pressed in tiny quantity, probably only ! 200 ! copies.

Matrix: YEX 615-1 & YEX 616-1
Stamper codes: 2,4/RO & 3/RT

This tem is complete as it was released in january ´69

  1. Cover: very first frontside laminated UK stereo cover without "printer & patents pending" text on the flip-back.text-writing between two red lines (only in the first issues) gold-odeon sticker about "Apple Records" printing, pinched fully readable spine. (Grading: VG)
  2. Record: black/silver unboxed Odeon label (Grading Vinyl: G ; both Labels in VG condition)
  3. Innersleeve: White non advertising EMI standart sleeve (Grading M-)

You can see, the record itself has seen much better days cause it´s often played.

Many, many fine hairlines, but only one scratch (1,8 Inch) on side two on the instrumental part wich only affect clicks.

I played the hole LP from beginnig to the end. There is surface noise throughout, but no jumps or sticks, only the clicks at the scratch.

There are no (unwanted) stickers or writings on the cover & labels, only some tear on top right backside (see picture).
