"Inroducing The Beatles" is the first The Beatles LP issued in USA!!! Original first pressing, Version 1 "Blank Back" cover, mono, released January 10, 1964!!! Authentic "Blank Back" cover variation has a glossy blank white slick on the back side. The mono covers have the slick positioned so that the number LP 1062 appears in the lower right hand corner. It is similar to the Ad Back in that it contains no information regarding the group or the songs. But white the Ad Back is one of the most colorful back covers in the Beatles catalog, the second variation is at the other end of the spectrum – a glossy blank white slick."Blank Back" covers are extremely rare. Cover was printed by Coburn & Company, an offset printing firm in Chicago.
First record variation. Version 1 with “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” title songs. Label has oval Vee Jay logos, centered song titles and songwriters’ credits with “INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” in medium print and “Long Playing” and “Microgroove” on the label. The trail off areas have the hand etched matrix number 63-3402 on Side I and 63-3403 on Side II. Both sides have the hand etched initials “A” as well as the machine stamped Audio Matrix and “ARP” logos. This variation was pressed by ARP, The American Record Pressing Co, Owosso, Michigan. Original VeeJay inner sleeve included. This extremely rare beautiful authentic copy!!! Hard to find a better copy of this. All records from my personal collection, collected for many years.
