I am a fan of garage music. To my ears, this is decent, but unexceptional. There is a mix of fast and slow material, and it is this slow stuff that rings short on appeal to me. In the mid 60's, most garage bands made their money playing dances, where it was required of them to play a reasonably high percentage of slower songs, even though this was not something very many of them were good at. All of Thus include probably more slow songs than necessary, because of this mindset. But one thing this album does have in it's favor is a good amount of original material, again, something most garage albums don't have.
