THIS IS AN EXTRAORDINARY RARITY:
The legendary Pianist Leo Sirota (1885-1965), a pupil of Busoni,
settled in Japan in 1929, teaching and giving recitals. He became
the most influential proponent of Western Music in Japan,
staying there for 16 years. Sirota recorded a few single
78rpm Records, which are rare and seldom found.
By far his rarest Recording is this 3x78rpm Set on British Homochord
playing Schumann Etudes Symphoniques.
This set almost never turns up, it is practically impossible to find.
As you can see from the catalog-numbers, it was not issued together
on the same date: Homochord Catalogue from 1926 only lists the
1st Record HB-2120. The other 2 records HB-2132 & HB-2133 were
released in the following year.
An absolute Top-Rarity, which we are offering here
in wonderful condition
(ex+ is our top-grading for 78rpm records !).

Record: The surface shows visible signs of wear. Different marks will be present and sound. Details are indicated.
