Very Rare 1967 Beatles Parlophone Demo 45: 'Hello Goodbye / I Am The Walrus' R5655.
Beatles demos now becoming harder to find as they were only made in a very limited quantity.
Lovely original Green and White Demo: Machine Stamped Matrix Side A; 7XCE 18433-1: Side B; 7XCE 18434-1.
1 and G at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock and stamped KT tax code in run out.
Vinyl Grade:
Side A, a strong VG++ to Excellent, a couple of light small wispy surface hairlines and a light very small light surface scuff NAP, no scratches, Glossy.
Side B is a strong VG+ to VG++ with some light unfeelable hairlines near the run in and a small light surface scuff NAP, a few scattered hairlines, nothing feelable or deep, Glossy.
Labels are EX with a feint light pencil annotation on side A, slight stain from a old sticker (Please see pics), Side B EX.
Play Grade:
Hello, Goodbye Plays EX, I am the Walrus Plays VG++ to EX, with light crackling at the start, both sides play through lovely with no skips or jumps.
Purchased from Beanos in Croydon in the 2000s, at the time the largest 2nd hand vinyl store in Europe before it shut a few years ago, can supply the letter that came with the purchase.
Sent 1st class signed and tracked in a reinforced mailer.
