The record appears to be in near fine condition

We have not tested its quality by playing it.

If you are dissatisfied with it, we will refund your money.

In other words, you have nothing to lose by bidding!

Note:
this record was purchased from the estate
of an old record dealer who had kept his records in superb condition.

I was assured that it had never been played,
but I find that hard to believe.

Nevertheless, it might be true.

This record will be carefully shipped:
it will be sandwiched in cardboard, and then bubblewrapped.

The following information was taken from the Wikipedia:

Biltmore Records was a United States based record label active from 1949 through 1951. The label was headquartered in New York City. Biltmore Records were often reissues of recordings no longer in the catalogues of other labels. Pressings were done by RCA Victor. When RCA Victor found out that Biltmore were making unauthorized reissues of material originally recorded by Victor, they sued Biltmore, putting Biltmore out of business..... Message from a satisfied customer:
"I am not sure where you got this LP but if you come across any others in this kind of shape I will gladly pay you twice as much for them. This LP is in perfect shape! Thanks again."

Our response:
"Although we don't test records by playing them, I am very careful about buying only those records that appear to be in superb condition. That means I buy about one record for every 100 that I look at. We don't sell a lot of records, but our record buyers have been happy with their purchases 99%+ of the time. ..."

Another Q & A:

Q:
Concerning the condition of this record - I am un-familiar with the term near fine!! In the record collector field the terms that are used for all except 78s are g Good Vg Very Good VG+ slight wear and signs of use M- Mint Midus - Played but looks almost like new M Mint Unused New Pristine no marks or signs of wear. Using the above kindly descibe the condition. thanks M___

A:
M___: Since I didn't play the record to judge its quality, then any statement I might make of condition is just a guess. So, I deliberately refuse to use Goldmine terminology, because I don't want to mislead people. It is my hope that, when seeing my descriptions, they will realize that my description is just a guess based on visual appearance. Besides, since I offer an unconditional guarantee, that should pose no problem. ... - Good luck! - Joel of satnrose ...
