of an old record dealer who had kept his records in superb condition.
I was assured that it had never been played,
but I find that hard to believe.
Nevertheless, it might be true.
This record will be carefully shipped:

Biltmore Records was a United States based record label active from 1949 through 1951. The label was headquartered in New York City. Biltmore Records were often reissues of recordings no longer in the catalogues of other labels. Pressings were done by RCA Victor. When RCA Victor found out that Biltmore were making unauthorized reissues of material originally recorded by Victor, they sued Biltmore, putting Biltmore out of business..... Concerning the condition of this record - I am un-familiar with the term near fine!! In the record collector field the terms that are used for all except 78s are g Good Vg Very Good VG+ slight wear and signs of use M- Mint Midus - Played but looks almost like new M Mint Unused New Pristine no marks or signs of wear. Using the above kindly descibe the condition. thanks M___

So, I deliberately refuse to use Goldmine terminology, because I don't want to mislead people. It is my hope that, when seeing my descriptions, they will realize that my description is just a guess based on visual appearance.
